Hello and welcome to the stunning aerial footage of the Ancient Samothrace, an archaeological site located on the island of Samothrace. The island is situated not far from the coast of eastern Macedonia and Thrace, northern Greece.
In this clip you can enjoy scenic videos of the early-winter landscapes of ancient town in the northern part of the island, Sanctuary of the Great Gods, ancient Agora and towers of Paleopolis not far from ancient places. The archeological site is famous for being the motherland of Nike of Samothrace, a masterpiece of Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic Era, dating from the beginning of the 2nd century BC (located in Louvre, Paris, France).
