Over 28 areas including the Kailsah Ghat in front of Taj Mahal are in danger of submergence following rising water level in the River Yamuna, which has ravaged parts of Delhi in the past few days. The flood water touched Taj Mahal wall and reached up to Tajganj crematorium, making it difficult to perform last rites. Officials asked residents to vacate flood-prone areas till flood threat recedes.
