Dick Boucher grew and was educated up in the midwest. His education is classic engineering with a focus on chemistry, bioengineering and microbiology in industry and resulting in undergraduate and graduate degree. He worked in his fields of choice from 1952 to 1973 when he was recruited to run Microma, Intel’s LCD watch company by Bob Noyce and Gorgon Moore. Dick ran and subsequently closed Microma in 1976, moving to Intel proper to continue his career there retiring from a senior executive position in 1996.
