Dramatic dashcam footage has captured the exact moment a double-decker bus erupted into flames while driving down the A30 in Cornwall. The vehicle caught fire near Preeze Cross, Bodmin at around 9am today (April 22), closing the road through the morning while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Fire engines from Bodmin and Liskeard rushed to the scene. The bus was 'well alight', according to Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, but there were no passengers on board. Police confirmed no one was injured in the incident.
Footage captured by @ adventurespoons shows the moment the fire began and appeared to ignite beneath the bus's back wheels. One person, commenting on the video published to Instagram, compared the blaze to Doc Brown's time-travelling DeLorean from Back to the Future.
