Sarah Atif Cheema explains why we should move from tolerance to acceptance.
--
How do you treat people who are different from you? Oftentimes conversations surrounding this question focus on "tolerance," but for speaker Sarah Atif Cheema,
"[tolerance] should not be our final objective, rather, tolerance should always naturally flow towards acceptance." In this motivating Talk, Sarah explains why we should push ourselves to move beyond just tolerating that which we don't understand, and make, "a significant effort to look inward, to see what is being resisted, and to bring it into acceptance."
