To South Sudan now and Chinese peacekeepers posted in Wau have repaired a damaged main supply route.The 704-kilometer road helps the United Nations Mission in South Sudan to transport supplies and humanitarian aid. The main supply road links several cities in Northern South Sudan. Seasonal weather changes and heavy vehicles have caused serious damage to the route. The repair work started last November after the 9th Chinese peacekeeping engineer contingent conducted a detailed survey and made a thorough plan.
