I love these kinds of days.

You are up and on your way pretty early, and then everything is great fun. I was lucky that today ended after I spotted a very reasonably priced hotel with a plunge pool by the road on the way up to Mae Salong. Not known for my quality decision making, I stopped! The rest of the day was very relaxing. Dinner was courtesy of a fabulous noodle stall nearby, with a few beers provided by the ever-present 7-11.
