The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine is actively engaged in research, teaching and service to understand the determinants of disease, how disease can be prevented and how best to implement this knowledge to improve public health. The department offers rich opportunities for students to learn about research and practice in these fields, working closely with SPM faculty.
