Kobbari Gasgasaala Chicken Curry
Ingredients:-
For masala paste:-
Poppy seeds- 1 tb spn
Coconut powder- 1 tb spn
Cardamom- 4
Cloves- 6
Cinnamon stick- 1 inch
Shahi jeera - 1/2 tsp
Dry the above ingredients and grind it into a fine paste and keep aside.
Curry:-
Chicken- 1kg
Onion- 2
Tomato purée- 1 cup
Green chillies- 4 slit
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tb spb
Chilli powder- 1 tb spn
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Curry leaves- 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
Salt- To Taste
Oil - 2 tb spn
Water - As Required
In a pan add oil, onion, salt and sauté it till onions turn pink, then add green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric, ginger garlic paste,chicken pieces and sauté it for 5 minutes.
Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato purée, grounded paste, water and bring it to a boil. Then cook it covered for 15 minutes. In the last adjust salt and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve it with Hot Pooris
