Taiwanese Iphone’s contract manufacturer & the world’s largest contract electronics maker, #Foxconn’s group chairman, who recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Telangana confirms, setting up an Apple Airpods plant manufacturing unit in Kongara Kalan park, near Raviryal in Hyderabad.
Company would invest more than $200 million in the AirPod plant. This unit is expected to create one lakh direct and indirect employment for youth in the State over a period of 10 years.
It is one of the biggest deals in the country and one that reaffirmed Telangana’s standing as the top investment destination in the country,
#Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd has plans to start construction of a manufacturing facility in Telangana in the second half of this year and begin production by the end of 2024.
