On this week's episode of The PC Gaming Weekspot, you'll hear plenty of chat on all the latest PC gaming news, like a big ol' conversation on what Hitman developer IO Interactive could have in store for us with their Project 007 James Bond video game, the yearly "what are The Game Awards?" discussion begins as Geoff Keighley announces the nominees, and we speculate on what dead celebrities almost showed up in Cyberpunk 2077. All this, plus a stop off in Tech Corner, and some lovely Info Snacks for your wonderful news gobs.
Yes, that is correct: we've made it make sense to talk about the fact that Matthew's been playing the PlayStation 5. This isn't any sort of PlayStation 5 review - that's a stretch, even for us. Instead, this is a DualSense review. With Steam improving support for the PS5 controller, it made sense to chat to Matthew about whether or not it's any good. Also, Colm's been having a go on Abzu developer Giant Squid's very pretty exploration game, The Pathless. Feast your eyes on this lovely The Pathless gameplay.
Because of all the console talk of late, we've decided to look at games that originally appeared on PlayStation or Xbox systems, on Mystery Steam Reviews. Let us know how many you got right in the comments!
In YOUR segment, Burning Questions, we discuss games that critics "got wrong," breakfast cereals and video game mascots. Remember: if you want to get your Burning Question on the show next week, email us weekspot[at]rockpapershotgun[dot]com.
