Jon would take the start in this one in an XJS which was as grumpy as ever, hours and hours put in just to get the thing out there as the season had taken it's toll. The clutch was on it's way out, it was down on power, hard starting and with an intermittent ECU problem occasionally killing the car. Despite all this Jon put in probably his best shift so far, getting used to the car and giving chase to a cluster of MX-5s and Porsches. He even managed to get through the Code 60 period without penalty, impressive going in a car with no speedo and no rev counter!

I took over and had a good burn up with a couple of Boxsters and a beautiful old BMW, in all it was good fun and a decent outing if not particularly competitive. The car came home in one piece importantly, ready for an extensive rebuild required before any further action!
