✨Homemade Peach Iced Tea🍑✨

It’s peach season!! As promised, here’s a recipe for the peach iced tea as well☺️ Check out the Litchi iced tea recipe if you haven’t alreadyy💕

Here’s what you’ll need to make this iced tea at home☺️

1 medium peach- chopped
1/4th cup sugar or honey or sweetener of choice
1/2 cup water for the concentrate
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon tea leaves/ chai patti or lose leaf black tea

Ice
Peach slices
Water or soda to top off the iced tea

Process:
• Add the chopped peaches to a pot along with the water & sugar(if using honey add it at a later stage)
• Let the sugar dissolve on low heat
• Simmer the mixture for 4-5 minutes or until the peaches are soft and mash them
• Add the tea leaves & boil for 1-2 minutes
• If using lose leaf black tea or a tea bag, turn off the heat & let it brew for 1-2 minutes
• If using chai leaves like I did, boil the mixture
• Strain the concentrate, make sure to press it down properly
• Double strain if required, mix in the lime juice
• To make the iced tea, add a few tablespoons of the mixture, add ice, soda or water some peach slices & lime slices & enjoy!!
