This lecture coincides with Madame Cézanne, organized by Dita Amory at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, November 19, 2014-March 15, 2015. This is the first exhibition of paintings, drawings, and watercolors by Paul Cézanne of his wife and most frequently painted model, Hortense Fiquet. Dita Amory is Acting Associate Curator in Charge and Administrator of the Robert Lehman Collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Amory organized the widely acclaimed exhibition Pierre Bonnard: The Late Still Lifes and Interiors, MMA, 2009.
