Old Fashion Tomato Gravy

5 slices of bacon(reserving grease)
1/2 cup of chopped onion
3 tablespoons of flour
1 1/2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of whole milk
1 can of diced tomatoes
1/2 -1 cup of ketchup
Salt and pepper

Fry bacon until crispy and set aside, reserving the bacon grease, add a half a cup of
 chopped onion in the grease and cook until slightly translucent, add flour, string, and frying until lightly browned, then add diced tomatoes and broth, and simmer about five minutes then add one cup of milk and half a cup to one cup of ketchup to your taste. Crumble the bacon back in and season accordingly. Enjoy over hot biscuits, rice or mashed potatoes.
