Momo is a traditional Newari dish characterized by bite sized Buff-Momos served in a bowl with a sauce drowning the momos. This recipe is a classic and basic recipe for a MOMO KO JHOL ACHAR. The flavor and the character of this MOMO KO ACHAR can be commonly found in numerous momo serving eateries around the Kathmandu valley.
If you make the MOMO KO JHOL ACHAR exactly in the way I showed in this video, I guarantee that your MOMOs will be tastier than it used to be.
Ingredients for MOMO ko Jhol Achar :
1 cup Soybean Seeds
1/3 cup White Sesame Seeds (Teel)
Normal OIl
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
3 Green Red Chili
2 tsp Garlic Ginger Paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
3 Medium Tomatoes
Salt to Taste
2 tsp Lemon Juice
Some Chopped fresh corainder/ Mint Leaves
