아동수당 지급 만 8세 미만으로 확대…내년부터 영아수당도 지급
The age limit for childcare subsidies in South Korea will be expanded to kids aged eight... up one year from seven.
The National Assembly's welfare committee voted on several bills on Thursday.
Parents or guardians can receive around 84 U.S. dollars per month.
And for babies born January 2022 and after, so-called "infant subsidies" will also be provided as a bonus every month for two years.
Infant subsidies are to start at roughly 250 dollars a month in 2022 and gradually rise up to around 420 dollars in 2025.
Starting in 2022, couples who are expecting can also receive vouchers worth close to one-thousand-680 dollars.
