A quick look at my fastpacking set up using the DD Hammocks Superlight tarp.
This shows how I construct a basic tent. I sometimes use a single central pole but here I used an Inverted V or A frame with two trekking poles. I've made my own pole extenders out of plastic piping!
This was just a lunch stop on an easy run although I have also used this set up for camping / bivvying.
