2008 bloody clashes between the Taliban and the Afghanistan's National Army, Sangin District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Sangin district of Helmand Province after the resurgence of the Taliban in 2001 became one of the places where the bloodiest wars took place. The Taliban used the thick forests of this district to ambush Afghan security forces and foreign forces, and to retreat, they crossed the Helmand rivers and entered Musa Qala, Helmand, or Nahr Siraj district. Hamid Saifi is one of the commanders of the Afghan national army who witnessed bloody clashes in this district.
