I decided to buy this because it was getting cold outside to grill and I wanted to start eating healthy. As soon as it was delivered, I decided to make some hamburgers (I know not too healthy). I adjusted the temperature to around 400 degrees and waited for the light to go off as instructed by the booklet. The light never went off, but the grill was very hot, so I placed my burgers on it, and it started to sizzle. While it was cooking, I decided to slice up some onions. When I came to check on the grill noticed the hamburger was not cooking and it was no longer hot.

I called Amazon and they contacted Elite. I guess I got a dud because they agreed to send me another one. I just received the 2nd one today. I had no problem with it heating up and grilled my steak to make fajitas. Thanks, Amazon and Elite. I gave them 5 stars for the customer service.
