I recommend practicing bluntslides on parking stoppers because they have the right dimensions for keep that nose vertical as possible. This will help with your form when applying to a ledge.
Practicing on round flat bars are another option, but for me, practicing on parking stoppers had the right amount of surface area that felt right to slap the tail vertically into as I imagined myself doing one on a ledge or box. I was scared to do them on round rails (OPTIONAL).
IMPORTANT:
-wax both the top and side of the obstacle
-stay center (keep head over pelvis)
-keep picturing yourself doing the trick!
