Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have killed at least 63 Palestinians, with Gaza’s Government Media Office reporting 71 deaths, including Gaza’s police chief and his deputy. Over 34 strikes targeted areas such as al-Mawasi, a designated humanitarian zone, and Jabalia refugee camp, which has faced repeated bombings. Deadly attacks also hit Gaza City’s Remal and Shujayea neighborhoods, as well as az-Zawayda in central Gaza. UNRWA head Philippe Lazzarini condemned the strikes, stressing no area in Gaza is truly safe. Amid worsening humanitarian conditions, global calls for a ceasefire intensify as journalists and civilians continue to face unprecedented risks.
