How To Set Default Apps In Android Devices

In this video, I will be showing you how to set your default apps at any time on your Android device. If you have more than one app that does the same thing, Android offers you the ability to pick your default app for six different app categories and functions at your convenience. These categories are as follows: Browser app, Caller ID and spam app, Digital assistant app, Home app, Phone app, SMS app.

Steps To Set Or Change Android Default Apps:
1. Open the "Settings" app
2. Tap on "Apps"
3. Tap on "Default apps"
4. Tap on the app category that you would like to set or change the default app for. For example, if you would like to change the default browser app, tap on "Browser app"
5. From the list of browsers you have installed on your Android device, tap on the browser app you would like to use to select it
6. You can now close your Settings app if you're done setting default apps or you can go back to "Default apps" by tapping on the back arrow key at the top left of your screen.

Note: To set a default app for a specific app category on your android device you must have at least one app installed for that specific category. To change a default app for a specific app category you must have more than one app that does the same thing.
