Borosil has launched a brand new advertisement to promote its variant, Larah. Borosil has rolled out an ad film for its Larah collection of ceramic dinnerware. The film has been conceptualised by Sideways.
The film is set in an upscale restaurant, where a liveried waiter helps a customer struggling to read a sophisticated menu. His choice is a 'Delicately crisp fried wrap with rare savoury filling'. Complementing him on the choice, the waiter suggests 'Organic tamarind sauce' on the side. While the customer waits, the waiter heads to get the order. But instead of the kitchen, he steps out on to the road through a rear entrance. His dignified tone changes to match the crowded alley, as he shouts out to a man at a roadside food stall for ten rupees worth of something with chutney. He returns to his elegant best as he delivers the food to the man seated inside. As he unveils the dish, the guest is surprised to see two mini samosas, with three drops of chutney and a dhaniya leaf skillfully placed. But he loves what he sees. So much so, that he requests the waiter to meet the chef. The waiter is stunned, not knowing what to do. The film ends with a voice over saying, '#KhaaneKoBanayaKhaas' (Makes food special) and introduces Borosil's Larah collection. The film is live in cinemas currently and airing on TV in some regional language channels. It is slated to air on national channels later this month.
