I have other great patches in the making, but I've been using this one every day since I started programming it. The initial idea was to emulate (and improve) famous plugins for vocals. The resemblance to the CLA Vocals by Waves is pretty obvious, and I feel bad for not using that plugin anymore! AHAH Sorry, Chris Lord-Alge! Directly processing a vocal can be "dangerous", as I always say: "the less you touch a vocal, the better". That's why with this plugin, besides the OPTO compressor (LA-2A, LA-3A) and the EQ (inspired by the wide and musical curves of the Sontec 432c) you're literally NOT TOUCHING the vocal at all! All the effects are in parallel, and this is truly the key to get professional-sounding vocals! In this patch, the phase of the sends is always aligned and it introduces NO LATENCY. During the tests, I found myself using the ENHANCER on other instruments with great and unexpected results! It works incredibly well with anything organic: pianos, electric pianos, guitars, and even bass guitars. But I've been using it on heavy sounds I made in Serum, on more analog synths (Sylenth and Nexus), and on vocal chops too. Have fun with it!
