This video is of the town of Port Selmi in Dragon Quest V on the SNES. This video takes place during the second phase of the game.

Port Selmi is the first location visited on a separate continent in the game. After restoring peace to Reinhart, the party takes a ship from Vista Harbor into the port.

Port Selmi feature many shops, including another location for both the item/gold vault and a monster farm. This is because there is no way to return to the previous towns until a bit later in the game. Port Selmi becomes the new "home base" for a short time.

In the cafe, the hero finds some trouble with some local bandits. He also learns of some trouble in a village named Kabochi to the south of town.

The featured monster companions in this video are Smith the hork and Healie the healslime.
