It's another busy day at Barnsley Hospital. Junior doctors and nurses must make critical decisions to save patients lives and treat their illnesses with the utmost care. Two-year-old Kaitlyn is rushed into the emergency ward with dangerously low blood sugar levels, and doctors are unsure what have caused her critical illness. Elsewhere, patient struggling with addiction is brought in but due to his history with drugs, doctors are struggling to properly treat him.

Casualty 24/7 is a show following the Barnsley A&E department. The reality series allows for a peek inside the hearts and minds of the medical emergency teams, and how they deal with critical situations revolving around people's lives and illnesses. The close-knit team exchanges typical Yorkshire banter and humor to aid them with getting through their often long and tough days.
