This atlas and farming strategy is great for gold, explosions of 6 links and gumball currency, and the occasional big drop, and has just been a lot of fun. 8 mod rare monsters can be chaotic.

Scarabs: 2x Adversaries, 1x Horned Nemesis, 1x Horned Tradition, 1x Radiant Storms. The latter two are rare, but not expensive.

Recommended maps:

Hardest but best - T17 with "Rare Monsters have +2 modifiers". USE CHISELS (normal ones are fine)
Easier but still tough - T17s, chiseled, rolling over heinous modifiers
Easier - T16 8-mod
Easier - T16 8-mod, and remove most/all of the map modifier effect scaling on the tree
Easier - Chisel/alch T16. Not recommended if the scarabs go up in price, as I record this, they are each 7c or less, mostly much less.
