Imagine a world where a simple scratch could threaten your life. In reality, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is already a silent crisis, claiming 35,000 European lives each year.
While there is much you can do to prevent AMR, scientists at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) are leading the fight through innovative research. They monitor rivers, animal feed and wastewater to uncover hidden antibiotics and analyse vital data that help track and predict AMR trends. Science helps building a resilient, healthier future for all. Together, we are protecting our health, the environment, and future for generations.
