Since we are all staying at home, My boyfriend cook his own version of Makaronilaatikko typically means "macaroni in a box" in Finland this is a famous dish and every household know how to make it with different versions, some put milk on it and wild meat, it is really up to your taste buds and you can play your ingredients. Here is some of our own version.
Ingredients:
250g-300g macaroni pasta/ adjust if you have bigger ramekin
250g minced meat /mix pork&beef
100g bacon bits
1 garlic/ half in the pan & half into mixing
1 onion, slice into cubes or minced
1 pack grated cheese/you can use different kind of cheese
3 tomatoes/ slice into cubes
ketchup/ any ketchup will do
butter
salt & pepper
Preparation:
-preheat oven into 150C while cooking the ingredients
Cooking:
30 min with 200C and reduce heat to 150C another 30 min.
