Day 38: Brian and Roy are back into their familiar rhythm, waking before dawn to fierce mosquitoes and a beautiful sunrise. The animals are active today, with some nature sightings and successful fishing.

Join Bushman Brian and his dog, Roy on their two-month wilderness survival trip in Northern Ontario. Taking place in the backcountry of Temagami, the adventure is full of challenges, lessons and the beauty of nature.

In the quest to self-sustain and live off the land, I feed myself through foraging, fishing and hunting for food. I utilize bushcraft, backcountry camping and wilderness survival skills throughout the trip to help myself along.

The land provides a unique experience with beautiful landscapes, sunrises, sunsets and wildlife such as moose, eagles and the never-ending hordes of biting insects.

This trip took place on Robinson-Huron Treaty territory, in the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg people.
