This is a bench test of a newly designed custom sequencer, with 32 channels, expandable up to 48 channels. In this unique situation the shape of a Y was desired by the customer, with the requested function of a running light, that doubles as a sequential turn signal.
If you look at the wiring in the background, you can see 41 unique wires soldered at 67 points to connect the 32 Power LEDs. It is temporarily hooked up for testing purposes, but ultimately 35 of the individual wires will require a perfectly spaced hole drilled to run through during the mounting process, where it will finally be installed in the center of a set of concept tail lights. The brake light function will be handled by the same type of LEDs lining the perimeter of the taillights, which will be controlled independently of this sequential LED system.
