To use A-SUB clear sublimation vinyl, follow these general steps:
Design Creation: Create or choose the design you want to transfer onto the vinyl using graphic design software. Ensure that the design is mirror-imaged or flipped horizontally, as sublimation printing requires this for the final image to appear correctly.
Printing: Print the design onto sublimation paper using a sublimation printer and ink. Ensure that you're using the appropriate sublimation ink for the printer. Make sure the size of the design matches the size of the vinyl sheet.
Preparation: Cut the clear sublimation vinyl to the appropriate size to match your design. Ensure that the vinyl is clean and free from any dust or debris that could affect the transfer.
Transfer: Use a heat press machine for sublimation to transfer the design onto the clear sublimation vinyl. Place the printed sublimation paper with the design face down on the vinyl. Ensure the heat press is at the recommended temperature and time for sublimation.
Pressing: Carefully place the vinyl with the sublimation paper inside the heat press. Apply the recommended pressure and heat settings, and press the vinyl according to the manufacturer's instructions. This process will transfer the design from the paper to the vinyl.
Cooling and Finishing: Once the pressing is complete, carefully remove the vinyl from the heat press and allow it to cool. Peel off the sublimation paper gently to reveal the transferred design on the clear vinyl.
Finalizing: Trim or finish the vinyl as desired for your specific project, whether it's creating stickers, decals, or any other application.
