All schools and factories in Pasir Gudang will be given gas detectors to help them monitor the air quality. This comes at the back of another pollution crisis. Speaking to the media, Malaysia’s Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change, Ms Yeo Bee Yin, described the latest incident as "unique". The authorities have not yet been able to identify the source of the chemical pollutants, as no chemical pollutants were found in blood and urine test results of victims.
