How to summit Pikes peak via Crags (devil's playground) trail. Take U.S. 24 to Divide. Turn south onto Colorado 67 and drive 4.1 miles. Near a ranch, turn left onto a dirt road and follow it 3.0 miles to the trailhead. This trail is 13.5 miles round trip and 4,350 ft gain and is a class 2 difficulty rating. This is my 5th time doing this trail and my goal for today is to break my previous time 4:36hr and train for the Pikes Peak ascent which is 2 weeks from today. My inspiration for today comes from a book I am listening in Audible App "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins Navy Seal, Army Ranger, Ultramarathoner, guiness world record in pull ups and overall badass!!! The book takes you into some of his darkess moments and how his is able to overcome them. Great book!!
