Authorities are treating a mysterious object which washed ashore at a beach in WA as suspicious but not dangerous.
The object, which was discovered in Green Head, appears to be made of metal and is at least two metres tall.
Chemistry Centre of Western Australia has deemed the unidentified object as safe and say it poses no risk to the community but police continue to guard the item until it is removed and have asked the public to stay away from it.
