A new project being put into an empty Compact Logix PLC ran into two problems in this video:
1 - I did not have the right end cap installed - 1769-ECR and that was giving me an I/O fault
2 - This was a new build computer and I had never activated RSLogix 5000 on it. So even though I was operating on a grace period, it was sort of "view only". Once I activated it everything went smooth.
You can tell from the way I handled these problems that they are normal for AB users, so if you are from a different platform, understand it's not you, it's AB. :P :P
In all honesty, I like AB stuff and it works great.
