On 7 August 2023, NHS England hosted a celebration event for colleagues and stakeholders across England. The event celebrated and recognised Oliver's Training rollout progress, focusing on the 'nothing about us, without us' co-production values and ensuring its future success.
The event was attended by a range of stakeholders including, Approved Trainers for The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, Paula and Tom McGowan, Integrated Care Boards, experts with lived experience of learning disability and autism, advocacy groups and many more.
