Ashaji came to Vancouver many times, on one such occasion, we were fortunate to get an Interview with her. The year was 2007 and she came in concert with Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher and Kunal Ganjawala. Of course the show was a big hit. The interview was actually an hour long, but we decided to cut the interview up in to different parts. This is part 1 where she talk about how she got in to music and her marriage to R.D. Burman.
