My husband and I spent last weekend in North Carolina for our 1 year anniversary. We stayed at the historic Balsam Mountain Inn which is one of the top 10 most haunted places in North Carolina and had an amazing, delicious dinner at The Swag. We hiked to my most favorite hike in the Smokies - Hemphill Bald from Purchase Gap in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park the next day and picked up lunch from The Swag. The Swag at Gooseberry Knob is where Jerry proposed to me so it has special meaning.
