The Intel-powered PC is a convertible notebook with a 14 inch display and a 360 degree hinge that allows you to use the computer in laptop or tablet modes. It’s also a premium model that’s expected to sell for $1499 and up when it hits the streets later this month. The notebook sports a 14 inch, 2880 x 1800 pixel OLED touchscreen display with support for variable screen refresh rates ranging from 48 Hz to 120 Hz. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass protecting the screen, and HP says the notebook supports an optional stylus (suggesting you’ll have to pay extra if you want to get one). HP will offer the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 2-in-1 with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor based on Lunar Lake architecture, which means that it should have an NPU capable of delivering up to 48 TOPS of AI performance, integrated graphics that are up to 30% faster than the previous generation, and better performance-per-watt and energy efficiency than an Intel Meteor Lake or older chip. It also means that you can expect up to 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory which is not user-upgradeable, but the computer also has PCIe Gen 4 storage that should be replaceable. The laptop has a starting weight of just under 1.4 kg (about 3 pounds), and a set of ports that includes two Thunderbolt 4 and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C as well as support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
