Massive protests were held by locals and activists in Gilgit Baltistan on Sunday over an ongoing land acquisition by non-local investors, who are plundering natural resources of the region. The protesters alleged it is part of Pakistan's deliberate attempts at expanding its political control over the illegally-occupied territory.
