Valencia football fans were seen clashing with police outside the Metsalla Stadium ahead of the La Liga clash against Real Madrid on Saturday amid rising anger towards the club's owner, Peter Lim.
Footage shows hundreds of fans chanting and throwing empty cans at police while holding banners bearing slogans such as 'Lim go home'.
Protests erupted against Lim after a Spanish couple was held in Singapore for posting photos on social media with a banner criticising the business magnate outside his home.
"We're fed up with the owner of Valencia. We want him to leave, sell and get out of here and leave us alone," a fan said.
"We'll go in later and wait for the game to start, so it's embarrassing. So Peter Lim and all of Spain can see the game half-started and empty," added a second.
The latest protest was scheduled to take place until 19 minutes into the match. Demonstrations against Lim have become common in Valencia since he assumed ownership of the club a decade ago.
Although Valencia finished fourth in three of the first five seasons after Lim's purchase in 2014, the five seasons since have seen them languishing in the middle of the La Liga table.
