New Pokémon Snap Walkthrough - Lental Seafloor Illumina Spot: Level 1 & How to Unlock It.
To unlock it, go to Lental Seafloor Undersea: Level 2 after you have Illumina Orbs. Towards the beginning of the level is a Clawitzer. continually throwing Illumina Orbs at it until it comes to an opening at the cave and it destroys the rocks for you. Then quickly enter it before you pass it. This is a long cave route. Towards the end of it, you will find a few Ancient Ruin Artifacts. Scan them and take photos of them. Once you return to the Lab, the Lental Seafloor Illumina Spot will be unlocked.
