Members of Parliament are up in arms against the Parliamentary Police Commission for transferring four female police officers because they are pregnant. According to a letter dated 30th June 2014 to the Women Affairs Commander of Parliament's Police, the four officers have been transferred from parliament to the police headquarters department for women affairs. Agness Nandutu reports that the parliamentary commission that sat this morning has now directed that the four expectant police officers be brought back to their posts at parliament, with immediate effect.
