Today we're talking about above tank basking areas vs floating basking docks vs standing basking platforms...and yes this includes DIY basking areas and turtle toppers ;) They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately it will depend on the species of turtle and personal preference! The main thing is to ensure that your turtle has a space to get out of the water and dry out under some heat and uvb.
