Lastly, for modding purposes, the game includes a feature where you can edit your character's stats. Click on the "Character" option at the bottom of your screen as you are looking at the map of Caladria. Then click on "Statistics." Click "Export Character." Then search your computer for your character's name and you should pull up a text file in your computer's MBW directory. Simply edit the numbers you want to change (such as giving your character 10 leadership, 30 strength, etc.) and then go back to the game and click "Import Character." This can be useful for skipping the early game grind if you wish to.
