With QUICK-LOCK BMT®, toolholders (BMT) can be automatically clamped and unclamped in just a few seconds at the push of a button.
Until now, changing BMT toolholders on the turret on a lathe or on a turning/milling center has involved increased setup time and changeover risk due to operator intervention. With our QUICK-LOCK BMT® clamping system, the BMT tool change has now been fully automated. All it takes now is the push of a button and QUICK-LOCK BMT® clamps or unclamps the BMT toolholder in less than four seconds. As an option, the clamping system can also be operated as a 4.0 adaptation by means of an industrial robot and the tool turret can thus be loaded fully automatically.
