In America, we are pretty serious about celebrating Taco Tuesday. People sometimes plan days in advance where and what they are going to eat. They may invite a number of people to join them, or go out for the night solo.
I enjoy a good taco. My favorite Mexican taco would be a fresh-made street taco in Mexico…plenty of pico, cilantro and it must be in a charred corn tortilla.
There is nothing wrong with a regular taco, but I wanted to make a fun video that included a unique recipe that people could make at home...a great item for a dinner party, luncheon or appetizer night wit your friends.
I've traveled to Italy a number of times in my life and realize Italians don’t celebrate Taco Tuesday, but they do love a good time and enjoy making and eating great food. It''s a way of life! I thought I’d share this recipe I created to help the whole Italian population in Italy celebrate with the United Staes every Tuesday…just a little differently.
Italians basically celebrate by eating Italian food if they are in Italy or are in any other country. LOL! They love there bowl of pasta. My grandparents were Italian, but lived in the states. Grandma probably made pasta more than once a week. I could confidently say my grandparents probably never ate a taco in their life. I wish they were still alive because I really think they would enjoy the one I created for this video, as I think you will…
