Video- A beautiful video shows people feeding and helping an injured elephant stuck in a lake.
In the island of Sri Lanka, there are soo many incidents like this that happens in the difficult terrains in the central part of the island. Some elephants are too adventurous and brave to seek territories outside the safe zones given to them. These safe zones are massive in size with acres and acres of lands kept for them to freely roam. This footage is one part of a massive operation to save this giant from a broken leg. This is a severe issue as it is entirely a challenge to heal a broken leg of an elephant at any stage, unlike injuries to humans. We will share more footage as this saving mission progress on, and it will take weeks to see any positive outcome with the initial step being the one to give a bit of relief to this elephant.
